To say that I am a novice bike rider would be an understatement. I started clumsily riding along for the health of my knees. I was on my bike recently trying to make it up a long, gradual hill. My concentration could have turned a lump of coal into a diamond, but I noticed an older lady walking down the hill. She was appropriately dressed for her exercise and had a spring in her step. I looked up long enough to see her fist in the air rooting me on, “Go, go, go!” she yelled. I quickly gave her the thumbs up and a huge smile. "Who does that?" I thought to myself. What a precious gesture. I really needed it too.
Here’s the thing...God is rooting you on too. Whatever is going on in your life right now, He wants you to succeed, move forward, serve others, and live for Him. So here’s to you, my friend, “Go, go, go!” and know that you are loved by the King.
And to the lady in my neighborhood with such a big heart, thank you for inspiring this writing.
