"A cheerful heart is good medicine..." Proverbs 17:22
One of my daughters was recounting a story about laughing at my brother during a holiday meal years ago. My brother caught everyone off guard with his humor and my daughter began laughing with a mouth full of food. Suddenly a bean came flying out of her mouth. Which, of course, made everyone laugh even harder. Just hearing her tell the story made us both laugh all over again. What a happy memory.
I love to laugh - especially after a stressful work week. Research has shown that laughing releases endorphins (the body's natural feel good chemicals) which gives you that sense of well being. So neat that it's built right in. God is so good!
Purpose to laugh today. Your body will thank you.
Blessings to you,
